6.7 power stroke hot side, cold side, intake piping

so a little something we have been hiding is this 6.7 power stroke piping kit that we did a collaboration with rst diesel. we couldn't be happier with how this kit turned out. there are a few kinks that need to be worked out before we start production on this kit but i figured we would talk you through some of the trials and tests that came with putting this together and some of the decisions made and why we made them

firstly we decided that we wanted make sure this kit would fit as nicely as possible and install as easily and quickly as we could possibly get it even if that means that the overall cost is more but the quality is well worth it in the end. one of the things we very quickly knew we wanted was to add in some sort of split in the y bridge whether that be a rubber boot v band or in this case a set of HD    clamps that definitely set this kit apart from the rest on the market.

the next concern was   the accessibility to   replacement parts like o   rings, gaskets, sensors,   clamps and rubber boots   because to us it makes   no sense to use some   special part or o ring that   you have to hunt down   or special order that's   why we utilized the stock   o rings and sensors and   sensor placement  to   make this kit easier to   work with.
our next concern was connecting the stainless piping to the factory intake and locations with out compromising flow and performance and also not making it to expensive. we had a lot of development time in the flanges making sure that they flowed good looked appealing and weren't way out in the price range. although we spent way more on the scanning, cad work, and initial machining we are extremally happy with how these flanges turned out
the last thing we had to do was take this kit and test it and see how well it performed in a higher power situation the truck it went on already had a s300 series charger and a lot more fuel. in comparison to the factory set up the truck spooled quicker was more responsive and actually drop in boost pressure telling us that the stock set up was extremally restrictive on top of the fact that it was very cluttered and hard to work on.
overall we are very happy with how this kit turned out and how it performs along with how it looks and how easy it is to work on.
if you have any questions regarding this kit or any other along with any custom in house work you may be interested in just reach out and get ahold of us. we will not be selling this kit on our site if you are interested in having one made or possibly pre ordering a kit please get ahold of the guys at rst diesel as we will only be manufacturing this kit and selling commercially.
